Video Transcript

A toothbrush cleans the surfaces of teeth, but it misses the spaces between them. Plaque and food get trapped between teeth and just below the gumline. Floss slides into these tight spaces to lift the plaque away. Curving the floss around each tooth cleans just under the gumline. Left behind, that plaque can cause cavities between teeth and gum disease. Flossing once a day helps keep these hidden areas clean. The result is cleaner contacts between the teeth and healthier gums. This video is for general education only. It is not medical or dental advice. Ask your dentist what's right for you.
