Bad breath usually starts with bacteria in the mouth. Bacteria break down food particles and release odors. Many of these bacteria collect on the back of the tongue. A dry mouth can make the odor worse. Brushing, flossing, and cleaning the tongue remove the source. Staying hydrated also helps keep the mouth fresh. The result is fresher breath from a cleaner mouth. This video is for general education only. It is not medical or dental advice. Ask your dentist what's right for you.
