Veneers can transform the look of chipped, stained, or uneven front teeth. Stains, small chips, gaps, and minor crookedness can all show when you smile. A veneer is a thin shell, custom-made to cover the front of a tooth. First, a very thin layer of enamel is removed to make room for the shell. Next, an impression or scan captures the shape of the teeth. Each veneer is crafted to match the size, shape, and shade you want. The veneers are then bonded onto the front of the teeth.
